Japanese Almond pudding that melts in my mouth

Noon, make the jap almond pudding, had to mix the sachet with fresh milk, bring to boil while stirring...switch off fire, add milk again. Stir slightly when pouring into mould. Wow! Waited patiently, smells so nice....2 hrs passed in fridge.

Had it after dinner, WOW!! Melts in my mouth WOR!!

Am I alright?

Been days since last blogged. Searching for new pants coz I've put on lotsa weight which is damn horrible & it's like uncontrollable eating non-stop. Went to Daiso again after my fasting blood test this morning & got lotsa stuffs & proceeded to GIANT where I bought the nice smoked streaky porkie & smoke pork ham!!

So IRRESISTABLE! Nice green tea from Daiso, walked till legs damn tired. I like the beauty soap just 3 for $2 ya..hehe

Enjoyed shopping non-stop...

Successful - Making pork chop on 1st attempt!!

Yippie!! It was a successful 1st attempt on making pork chop!! Mother been saying she longed for pork chop but outside sell very expensive. Hence, I went to get the ingredients at NTUC. Mother praised me, consider very good since I don't know how to cook & it's my very 1st attempt. Hehe..

My latest salad creation - Jap cucumber, Iceberg lettuce, Carrots, Jap sesame sauce, Roasted sesame, Post morning cereals. So NICE!!

PSP slim

juz brought to shop to have games reloaded to PSP slim & now it's gone again! Charging battery at home & there's like sound emitting from it!! ..wats wrong? Is it hvg short circit, or battery prob surfacing?


So sad, no games to play.

13 Aug Fri Podiatry

got something to get off my chest...I very the guai le, didnt send online feedback.

Last fri went for podiatry appt & was seen by Nicolyn Tan - sounds like 'Nicotine'. When she called my name as Madam Yee when she heard the counter staff called me Miss already.

I'm not happy, told her when inside the room that am Miss Yee, not madam. Then she black face liao, ok, so I call u Miss Yee, can??   in very sarcastic tone. Asked me what I want her to do for me today (fri)?

Wth lor, as podiatrist should check my feet by pressing around the feet & ankles , oso test my sensation and to trim off sharp nails at sides which are very disturbing. She only feel on my feet only, then when I wanted her to trim the nails, she said not that long lah..can only trim a bit for me, noticed she didn't use the solution before & after to clean my toes!!

She only showed me to do balancing to strengthen my ankle muscles only..havent get the 1st step, jump so advanced...duhz..asked me best do balancing on pillow with eyes close!!

I mentioned Sis Nurse Mgr(discreet) advised me not trim my nails on my own since I hurt my toe while trimming nails. Her ears need to see ENT oso leh, said, yalor asked ur sis to cut for u. I go :"Harlow, the Sis I'm refering to is nurse mgr here in SGH hor."

Later Nicolyn asked if am seeing other doctors in SGH, I answered yes & she like dun wanna talk to me more..my case file with her. Why the stigma on patients who have to see psychiatrist? Very HURTFUL.........!! =_=

I dun like her!! Makeup till 'jian gui' and keep saying in ang moh tone. Hmmpff!!!!!!!!!! She's not the only one who 'jiat gan dang'.

Not the 1st time seeing podiatrist...think I was born yesterday? I like Marnie Cooper very much & Kimberly (which Sis refered me to d other side at rehab ctr, advised me to come back every mth, to help trim my nails.) She put six mths time.

Just now evening, went JP, got my PSP uploaded back...bought some WII games, got lotsa DVDs esp 'The Forbidden Kingdom' which I missed on last sun ch5. Whee...felt damn happy

Few days back, got myself new CREATIVE headphones & mp4 earphones...Stylo lor!! Sound system ROCKS!! YEA!!

Neuroforte changes color!!

Been taking neuroforte for >1.5 yrs but this is the 1st time I saw it changes color & most of it!! Safe for consumption or not??

OGD at SGH

Today I had to fast from 8.30am onwards, including no drinks at all. Allowed 2 slices of plain white bread plus a cup of kopi with sugar only & to take my lozartan. If am thirsty, I rinse my mouth & dizzy, take hacks sweet only.

Maybe am too stressed up & anxious, I dun feel hungry at all but dizzy which I took a sweet. When it was my turn, nurse brought me in, had a robe over me & later called into Suite 2 on operating table. Dr Ng asked if it's my 1st time & whether wanna be sedated. I choose to have as I was very anxious ut Dr Ng informed me about the risk & fair enough he tried but unable to give as vein too deep to be located.

Local anesthesia was sprayed into my mouth & told to swallow...argh..then monitor my BP which was 200/100 & one nurse panicked. Dr Ng assured me, instructed me to breathe in air by mouth as he need to let my saliva out of my mouth & there the endoscope goes into my mouth & I vomitted a few times, yucks!! Though with a mouth gag, my tongue managed to clamp the scope & Dr Ng had to say dun clamp dun clamp, relax...

It makes me sick manz...the nurses had to hold me down & Dr Ng said soothing words. I could feel the thick endoscope wriggling inside my stomach & intestine...he said 10 mins only but felt extremely long...

When it's ok, Dr Ng pulled out the endoscope to remove air inside my stomach & there I spitted & vomitted..Eeewwwsssssss....I was pushed to recovery area. After a while, nurse came & let me down, had a wash & rinse. Sat down rest head as I was feeling very giddy. Given watery milo & biscuits...watery milo could be due to just done endoscopy & also not to upset stomach further...but I didn't eat biscuit, so dry...I took sweet instead.

Was given 3 days mc in which Dr Ng informed me that this might cause sore throat. Nurse kept saying must come back to see gastric doctor at clinic C & was given medication. Dr found that there's stomach wall inflammation - gastritis.

I remember DNE nurse whom advised me to take plain porridge or soup base food, take small amounts but frequent for stomach to adjust back to normal.

Depression shows

I was on CNA last night, catching few shows about depression. One of which was America's medicated kids whom as young as 6 was diagnosed with ADHD & bipolar. Even one of the family's dog also on anti-depressant, except for their daughter!!

After which, at 10:10pm was interview of a young adult who was diagnosed with depression when he was in JC & couldn't take stress & expectations to score well in exams along with psychiatrist Dr Ang & SOS staff.

Good to have more shows to educate public & smart alecks who always wanted us - the sufferers' of depression to snap out of it. Of course, we do not expect them to understand what we going through but at least be understanding. It's not within our control when we react in certain circumstances.
