Which pair of slippers would you get?

Would u get a pair of slippers $39 @Bata (avail at hdb flats ones with toe divider $9.90) or a pair of slippers $35 adidas?

Oh well, this is my 1st time getting such expensive slippers - adidas. This morning, such heavy downpour & my socks & NIKE shoes got wet thoroughly. I can't wear it as my feet need to be dry especially when am diabetic.

Parents' Nite 13 Jun 2010

Thanks to Roland for inviting my mother & myself to tonight's event Parents' Nite at TJCC. Enjoyed ourselves especially when I was 'nominating' Roland to be up on stage to sing Chan Mala Chan...wow! His vocal's fantastic manz!! Hidden talent. :D

After which I dragged one auntie up on stage & we were to say in chinese Chu Yi Chi Su till Chu Shi...OMG!! Very ticklish as 5 of us the participants laughed at the Chu Er..become Chi Shu or Chi Chu...lol

Won myself 2 pairs of travel cutlery. Yeah! :)

Daddy

Yesterday mother went visit dad & Dad has new wounds on his arms...dad told mother that the nurses told him they don't like my mother as she always feedback..Don;t know how true to the fact thou cause we're not there to witness too...dad told mother that one nurse cried after scolded by the top. Dad told mother not to feedback anymore, wait he's afraid don't know how they will treat him, we're also worried about that. The nurse who bathed him scolded vulgarities whom also pinch his tits & touch his private parts & dad's very angry about it.

We're not there to witness the happenings also...plus if we to suggest having security camera, will it like blowing up matters?? =_=!! Am in dilemna.

Do they think patients are totally unware of whats going on since they have dementia? A question here.

Also the staff & nurses don;t seem that friendly when my mother went there yesterday. Sighz...am at lost. :(

Tdy went for ultrasound scan & seems like radiologist found something wrong inside my gastric. My injured toe also hvg pain back.
 
I felt so lost & helpless about my dad.

after the ulrasound scan today & the radiologist said something which is found internally dun sound good. Went carls junior to have beef low carb n beef chilli cheese fries which I shared with mother. Drew 2 new dwgs too juz now.

On my reading list

Currently, reading "Succubus Heat" after reading "Storm Born", author Richelle Mead manage to bound me to reading her novels that's so Tantalising, Tiltilating, Sensational & Excitements which made one wanting to read more. I saw "Succubus dreams" but thot it's the book I loaned a the contents are somewhat simiar in chapter 1 & put it back. Oh dear, guess someone would have borrowed the book after I placed it back to the shelf. Never mind, juz wait for next round then.

With me for my upcoming read ups are "My Forbidden Desire" by Carolyn Jewel, "Destroyer of Worlds" by Mark Chadbourn & "The People's Act of Love" by James Meek.

Loan more books

Sat, went to frontier to loan more books to past time. Yup, tues hvg ultrasound scan must fast & coming fri, must admit myself to slp disorder unit for the slp test overnight. Gonna bring along my NDSL & Novels along.

Come across the latest book "Beat Sugar Addiction Now!" in losing weight, topics touching on chronic illness & how supplements work. Some sort of workbook too. Yea, I wanna lose more weight effectively.

I mustn't let loose myself on exercise regimen due to fatigue or whatever so thats obstructing me. I wish to form my own dance group, hip hop will do. Best if TGIF youths can join in.

Dr Bobby did laser treatment course for my dm retinopathy, thks to him for being my best doctor beside Prof JF Cullen. Tdy, saw him in rm 24.

SNEC appt

Tdy went to SNEC, when seen by a dr at rm 24, Dr Bobby Chng was inside too. He was Dir of eye research & the one whom did the laser treatment for my diabetic retinopathy. Dr Bobby told his colleague (MO) that he knws me & immediately, the change of the doc treatment, treating me much nicer.

Noticed I had allergy reactions & dry eyes, he did another thorough check & my eyes lid are oily & allergic too. Prescribed me Patanol ($46.20 - 3 bots), Refresh Ophthalmic solution ($29.70 - 3 bots) & LID-care ($9.30). Damn EXPENSIVE!! Will be seeing me in 3 mths time becoz of my allergic, initially wanted to see me in 6-9 mths time.

Famished, time is 1.30 pm & my mother & me went to hseman canteen at bowyers block to get some chee kueh to stop the hunger pangs temp & saw Kevin Beck there with his colleague whom trying to get a good view of me as I waved back to Kevin. haha..

Session with snr psychologist

This afternoon, went for appt with my psychologist. This time session was short, he had one before & another after me.


Discussed about work & he told me now it is time for me to perform my capability & hardworking back in order to get the reputation back & oso earn promotion.

Yes, told him that no doubt I felt tired, stress about thw work, I will keep telling myself, I got to support my parents, my career & to prove to others that I can work like I was used to be.

Asked abt my r/s with mother & how was my dad. Psychologist told me at least am proactive in calling up the home's social worker about what my dad told me - eat not enough..etc.

Snr psychologist told me that he can see my mood is much better than the last time he saw me & oso 1st time he saw me. Asked me what lifted my mood, oh well, I've no idea. Could be my new counsellor & I started reading novel. Thou at times, my mood will have ups and downs & suicida thots.
 
I still binge even I try to take my lunch. Worst is that my weight is up up up!! I'm obese & ugly!! >_<
